By a pure coincidence our Friday Foto yesterday featured soldiers in the current Netherlands desert camouflage uniform – as you can see, that pattern is basically a copy of the US 3-color Day Desert Camouflage pattern.

Today a photo of the new Netherlands Fractal Pattern-Arid camouflage print appeared – courtesy of Quartermaster Gear in the Netherlands.  Although not yet officially introduced, the photo shows the pattern being used by a Dutch Army sniper somewhere in the Dutch Antilles.

 *UPDATE*

According to information received from Militaire-Uitrusting.nl, this photo was first published on the Facebook-page of 11 Luchtmobiele Brigade (aaslt) “7 december” on May 3rd and was taken during an exercise of 13 Infantry Battalion, 11 Air Mobile Brigade of the Dutch Army.
