The quick-drying outer layer provides durability, secures insulation material and provides crucial wind and water resistance – without effecting breathability. The vest also features a grid-fleece lining in the collar and two chest pockets lined with fleece to provide protection against cold.
Malamute is also highly compressible – it can be stuffed in a pack or cargo pouch, without any damage to its properties.
