The Tavor SAR is one of the most talked about 5.56 caliber rifles introduced to the U.S. market this year – and having had the pleasure of shooting one at The Shot Show Media Day, I can see why.

Manticore Arms already has experience in developing aftermarket firearms parts for Bullpup Rifles including the MSAR STG and Steyr AUG.. Now they have released the ARClight Tavor Rail, which is an anodized aluminum alternative for the polymer handguard and is only 2 ounces heavier than the standard off-the-shelf version.

The ARClight (Advanced Rail Chassis) has a modular slot system that utilizes Manticore Arms own rails with a lug backing that slides into place for a secure fit when tightened to the rail utilizing screws. The polymer Magpul MOE rails and IWC Mount-N-Slot components are also compatible with the rail system.

In addition to the rail replacement, Manticore Arms is now offering their LUMA Safety, which is available in a Medium and Slim version. Both options are manufactured with 6061 Aluminum in lieu of the stock polymer version that comes with the Tavor.

The LUMA Medium is the same size as the IWI supplied safety, while the LUMA Slim as a low profile staying clear of your hand when set to fire. They can be purchased individually or as a two pack for added savings with their initial offering.

The TAVOR ARClight Rail and LUMA Safety are now available and ready to ship with ordering online at ManticoreArms.com and our friends at Predator Armament have scored a special offer of free shipping on any order until the end of September, just can the code “PREDATOR” at check out.
