New to the Agilite tactical line is the Agilite ‘Ninja’.  Developed at the request of ‘Advanced Assault Gear’ in Tokyo, The Ninja is a micro-framed plate carrier designed for the smaller-framed warrior.

The average height of males in Japan is just 172cm (5′ 7″) and, as most plate carriers are made in the United States, where people in general and military operators in particular are significantly bigger, standard plate carriers just don’t fit the Japanese frame properly.

Enter the Ninja. Being tighter fitting, especially around the shoulders and back, the Ninja is optimized for the Japanese market. Despite its tighter fit, the Ninja nonetheless holds a size medium ESAPI plate in order to provide a proportionally high level of ballistic protection.  The Ninja also features a brand new telescopic shoulder-strap system and a removable cummerbund.
