Well, this video should really be titled ‘Some of the Guns of Star Wars’, but its still good.

As any serious fan knows, part of the reason why the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy had a certain realistic look in terms of it armory was because most (if not all) of the on-screen weaponry was based on real-steel firearms.  Such classics as the German MG34, STG-44, and C-96 as well as the British Sterling SMG, Lee-Enfield rifle, Lewis LMG, Webley and Scott 37mm Flare Gun and even the rare BSA EMC (‘Experimental Machine Carbine’) from 1949 all make an appearance in the films.
