Loren B. Thompson of the Lexington Institute makes an excellent case for “Buy American” in a recent editorial on defpro.com. But there are actually two excellent “Made in the USA” planes that the USAF should be considering, the Beech AT6 (pictured below) and the North American / Boeing “Super Bronco” (that we’ve featured before).
Sadly, the Super Bronco doesn’t appear to be in the running anymore – which is a damn shame!
