Members of the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team display the typical loadout of gear worn by US Paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions on D-Day. The WWII ADT is one of several groups of airborne re-enactors that will be jumping in period-correct uniforms and gear, with authentic military round canopy parachutes, from a fleet of C-47 ‘Dakotas’ onto original D-Day drop zones for the 75th anniversary of D-Day this year.
