In this second installment of my two-part look at airsoft Galil replicas, I turn to the recently announced Galil SAR from King Arms. The most obvious differences between this one and the TSI Armories version previously reviewed are that the King Arms version has an electric-powered blowback mechanism, has a pebbled finish on the pistol grip and features an old style folding stock. Here come some of the highlighted details of the AEG:
- Official licensed product (was Israel Military Industries Ltd.; Trademark of UZI Brands International Ltd, used by permission of Cybergun)
- Limited Edition: 500 pieces
- 1:1 precise dimensions and specs
- Full metal AEG with tons of steel parts
- 7mm bearing gearbox
- Special designed Bolt Carrier Operating System (Patent Pending)
- Dummy left-side selector
- Semi/Auto Firing
- 9.6-12V capable
- 130R steel magazine
- Betalight Ready (equipped with Tritium night sights set, betalight not included, modification needed.)
