Take a look at the Paladin from Grey Ghost Gear – it is an end-user driven  reinterpretation of the typical “rigger’s belt”, and different from any other belt out there.

With the Paladin you save 20% of the weight off a traditional rigger’s belt, retain your ability to “hook in” and are able to attach MOLLE/PALS gear directly to the belt through channels sewn into two layers of heavy duty milspec webbing.

The 1 ¾” wide Paladin Belt features a genuine Austrialpin® Cobra Buckle (one of the safest and strongest load bearing quick release buckles available). It also utilizes a sewn in loop that has been box-stitched and bar-tacked so you can still utilize a personal retention line securely.  Eliminating the more typical metal ring shaves weight (remember, pounds-pressure-pain), allowing for the addition of those sewn in channels without increasing the cost of the belt.

It will fit easily fit military issue trouser belt loops and most standard belt loops and remember—this wasn’t something just cooked up in the Grey Ghost “Good Idea Factory.” It was end-user driven, designed and built at the behest of SOF soldiers, some of whom have now had the prototypes downrange for field evaluation for over 6 months.
