As seen on social media today, HK fires up the 911 Turbo and heads back to the late ’90’s… Why? Because someone thought it would be cool to bring back the SL8.
In case you forgot, the SL8 is a US import-legal version of the G36 designed for precision sport shooting. It features a cold-hammer forged, free floating, barrel with a recessed crown, and a G36 style short-stroke gas piston (also used in the HK416) ensures smooth, clean, reliable operation. The SL8 also features a short MIL-SPEC optics mount, match trigger, and an adjustable thumbhole stock.
