Larry Vickers shows off a ‘unicorn rifle’ – a semi-auto 7.62x51mm NATO SIG AMT.  If I recall correctly, this was the very first ‘modern sporting rifle’ I ever saw – it was in a copy of the 1972 edition of “Gun Digest” that I found in the library at Salmon Arm West Elementary School in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada.
